User Group: IBM's Virtual User Group

IBM has their own User Group for the IBM i community the IBM i Virtual User Group. Being "virtual" means that we can all be members.

Its home page here.

You can join its mailing list by emailing ibmivug@us.ibm.com.

They are offering a webinar on Wednesday November 13th at 10:00 AM - 11:00 US central time called "Modern RPG - a look at the NEW and Improved Free From and other Modernization thoughts".

For this session we will take a look at the new free form updates that have just been announced with TR7. RPG has continued in its march to be a modern business language. We will look at the updates to the language and the tooling for creating new code in a modern manner along with tools that can be leveraged to help you convert your existing RPG code in a quick and accurate manner.

To register for this webinar click here.

Convert 10:00 AM US central time to your time zone here.

I have also added a link to the User Group's page to the IBM i user groups page. You will find a link to the user groups page at the top of every page of this website, or you can click here.

Now we can all be part of a user group!
