September's presentations

After having a month with no presentations I have three I am involved with this month.

  • Central Texas IBM i User Group
  • QUSER
  • COMMON India

Firstly, the Central Texas IBM i User Group, CTXiUG, has their bimonthly meeting on Tuesday September 12, starting at 6:30 PM (CT). This month we are fortunate to have IBM Champion Andy Youens returning. He will be discussing how Rapberry Pi can be used to enhance the capabilities of IBM i.

The following week, Tuesday September 19 starting at 2:00 PM (CT), I will be presenting online to the QUSER group of Minnesota. There will be will be two back-to-back presentations, with a small break between:

  • Temporal Tables – Looking Back Into Your Data’s Past
  • Tricks with Spool Files using SQL

The meeting is free and online.

The final presentation I will be making is rather special. On Thursday 28 September, at 4:30 PM (IST), I will be speaking at the first ever meeting of COMMON India. I hope all of you in South Asia will register and participate in this virutal conference as without your support there may not be another. The virtual conference goes from Tuesday 26 - Thursday 28 September. I am one of three presenters from the USA, the others are Tim Rowe and Dawn May. I would "attend" this conference just for their presentations.

I will be presenting: Tricks with Spool Files using SQL.

The meeting will be free and online.

You will need a COMMON USA account to register for this historic event. If you do not have one you can create one for free via the registration page, link below, by clicking on the "Create a new account" link, which is below the "Sign In" button.

Register here.

As all of these are online I hope I will see you at one of them.
